From 1987 to 2000 he served as Anchor and Financial Editor for the Stock Market Observer program, which was broadcast daily on WCIU-TV in Chicago. Earlier, Curt had been a stockbroker and real estate broker. He finished at the top of his class at the renowned College of Business at Northern Illinois University.
